Renoir Boulanger is a seasoned Webmaster and entrepreneur. Since 2007 he started with his friends weekly meetups to change their mind and "make things work" with PHP and Linux. That's what started everything. He is now Vice-President of Evocatio Technological solutions with his two partners.

About evocaTIo Technological Solutions

evocaTIo is a IT solutions development laboratory with a twist. evocaTIo specializes in custom-made web applications, high-availability Infrastructure implementation, virtualization and cutting edge technologies manipulations. At the heart of evocaTIo is an "elite-team" of freelancers, who's passion for technologies carries to the limits of what can be achieved, and back. Our junior team of enthusiasts is growing under the guidance of the founders. Our goals, try it, test it, build it into a solution, make it happen. Our tools, technologies, infrastructures, Internet, and each others.

That is also why evocaTIo is active within Montréal's (and the World Wide) Open-Source community through devLAB Montréal.

About devLAB Montréal

evocaTIo's social engagement. `It's about giving back`. The Open-Source scene is bringing the world together with technologies, software's and a strong sense of community. It's about learning from each other and sharing with anyone interested enough to listen. The team is new but already has some achievement (Microsoft's Make Web Not War 2010 as organizers, MonDev Montreal Open-source week as organizers). And strong allies (PHPQuébec, Vanilla Forums, TikiWiki, etc). With a new Open-Source project cooking the team is getting ready to bring even more people together with regular workshops on all aspects of technologies. From infrastructures to software architecture. All in the spirit of learning and sharing because "Really great people make you feel that you, too, can become great" (Mark Twain).
